This is my little bridesmaid doll. If knitted with 2.25mm knitting needles (US size 2) she will only be 11.5cm tall. You can knit with 3mm needles if you prefer, the doll will be 13.5cms tall.
We have had two Royal weddings this year in the UK, so I have based my design around the bridesmaid dresses that were worn on these days.
The legs, body & head is knitted all in one. The arms do not require toy stuffing. The belt uses alternating stitches of green & pink. The head dress uses picot stitch to show off the green & pink stitches.
I have used the green & pink wool to do simple embroidery.
The pattern is very simple to knit and the colours can be changed if required.
