This doll is based upon Cardinal Thomas Wolsey, a Catholic Cardinal, English statesman and The Lord High Chancellor of Great Britain. Wolsey is associated with the Tudor period and King Henry VIII. The doll is 15cm tall and is dressed based on a painting in Hampton Court Palace. The Cardinal is very easy to knit and is suitable for beginners.
