Medieval Cross Teapot Cosy Knitting Pattern

This is knitted teapot cosy for a 4 cup traditional teapot. It is knitted with double knitting wool, which has been doubled. Chunky wool can be used instead. 

The pattern uses slip stitches, so no chart is needed to knit this cosy. 

The cosy is simple to make, with some experience and is finished off with a cord at the the top of the cosy. 

It makes a perfect gift for those who love teapot cosies. 

This pattern comes with a basic knitting instruction booklet for beginners when bought from Etsy. 




ABBREVIATIONS:
RS – Right Side
K = Knit
P = Purl
st[s] – Stitch[es]
Sl – Slip next stitch on the left hand needle onto the right hand needle
K2tog – Knit two stitches together
( ) repeat the stitches in the brackets by the instructions after the brackets
