Handmade Christmas Bauble

This bauble is 10 x 18.5cm when stuffed; this does not include the woollen tie. It is made of double knitting 100% wool, which makes the bauble super soft. It is worked flat on 4mm knitting needles. I have used the Danish Cross traditional motif in this design to reflect a Scandinavian Christmas.

This bauble looks lovely on a Christmas tree, especially one with homemade decorations.

1940s Clothing

This pattern has been taken from an original 1940s knitting pattern and has elegant long cuffs with a picot edge. It has been rewritten to accommodate modern pattern instructions and hand sizes.
