King Henry VIII 4 Cup Teapot Cosy Knitting Pattern


DESCRIPTION:
Teapot Cosy Measurement Lower circumference – 17.6 in (45 cm) & Height – 12 in (31 cm)
Method: Worked Flat - Working Back & Forth
Wool: DK / Light Worsted/ 8ply - WORKED DOUBLED; TWO THREADS AT A TIME
Knitting Needles: Single Pointed 4mm & 5mm / US 6 & 8
Additional: Toy Stuffing & Tapestry Needle

ABBREVIATIONS:
st[s] – Stitch[es]
K = Knit
P = Purl
stst – Stocking Stitch
RS = Right Side
K2tog = Knit 2 stitches together
( ) repeat the stitches in the brackets by the instructions after the brackets
Inc. = Increase by working twice into the next stitch
stst – Stocking Stitch
Sl – slip next stitch onto right hand needle without knitting into it
yb – yarn between two needles to back
yf – yarn between two needles to forward
P2tog – Purl 2 stitches together
yfrn – Yarn forward and round needle; bring wool from the back to the front of the work, then over the right hand needle to the back, to make a stitch, then knit the next stitch, this makes a new stitch to knit into on the next row
